At STUDIOTEE, we want you to love your purchase as much as we loved creating it. However, we understand that sometimes an item may not be quite right. This Return and Refund Policy explains your rights and the process for returning items purchased from our store.

1. Your Right of Withdrawal (For EU Customers)
If you are a consumer located in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason, in accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive.
1.1 Withdrawal Period
The withdrawal period expires 14 days after:
For a single item: The day you (or someone you nominate) acquire physical possession of the item.
For multiple items ordered together but delivered separately: The day you (or someone you nominate) acquire physical possession of the last item.
For an item consisting of multiple lots or pieces: The day you (or someone you nominate) acquire physical possession of the last lot or piece.
1.2 Exercising Your Right of Withdrawal
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to cancel this purchase by a clear statement. You can do this by:

You may use the model withdrawal form provided at the end of this policy, but it is not required.
1.3 Effects of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this purchase, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the cost of standard delivery (but not any additional costs resulting from your choice of a more expensive delivery method than our cheapest standard delivery). We will make the reimbursement without undue delay and not later than 14 days from the day we receive your returned item or, if earlier, the day we receive proof that you have returned the item.
We will use the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. You will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
2. Eligibility for Returns
2.1 Items Eligible for Return
We accept returns for most items purchased from STUDIOTEE, provided they meet the following conditions:
The item must be unused, unworn, and in the same condition as when you received it
All original tags must still be attached
The item must be in its original packaging (if applicable)
You must have proof of purchase (order number, email confirmation, or receipt)
2.2 Items Not Eligible for Return
For hygiene, safety, or other reasons, certain items cannot be returned:
Final Sale Items: Items marked as "Final Sale" or "Non-Returnable" at the time of purchase
Intimate Apparel: Lingerie, swimwear, and other intimate items for hygiene reasons (unless defective)
Custom or Personalized Items: Items made to your specifications or clearly personalized
Gift Cards: Gift cards cannot be returned or refunded
Items Damaged by Misuse: Items damaged due to customer wear, washing, or other misuse
Items Returned After the Return Period: Items received by us after the applicable return period has expired
2.3 Return Period
Standard Returns (Non-EU Customers):
You have 14 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return. Items must be received by us within this period or within a reasonable time thereafter with prior notice.
For EU Customers Exercising Right of Withdrawal:
You have 14 days from the date of delivery to notify us of your decision to withdraw. You then have an additional 14 days from the date of notification to return the items to us.
3. How to Initiate a Return
3.1 Contact Us First
Before returning any item, please contact our customer service team at helpu@studiotee.store with:
Your order number
The item(s) you wish to return
The reason for return
Photos (if returning due to defect or damage)
We will respond with instructions on how to proceed with your return.
3.2 Return Authorization
Once your return is approved, we will provide you with a Return Authorization Number (RAN). Please include this number inside your return package and write it clearly on the outside of the package.
Important: Returns without a Return Authorization Number may be delayed, rejected, or returned to sender.
3.3 Packing Your Return
Please pack the items securely in their original packaging (if available) or in a suitable box or poly mailer to prevent damage during transit. Include:

A copy of your order confirmation or packing slip
The item(s) with all tags attached
4. Return Shipping
4.1 Who Pays for Return Shipping?
Returns Due to Our Error (Wrong Item, Defective, Damaged):
If you are returning an item because we sent you the wrong item, the item is defective, or it arrived damaged, we will cover the return shipping costs. Please contact us for instructions on how to proceed.
Returns for Other Reasons (Change of Mind, Wrong Size, etc.):
For all other returns, you are responsible for paying the return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee receipt of your returned item.

4.3 International Returns
For customers returning items from outside the Netherlands:
Please clearly mark the package as "RETURNED GOODS" to avoid additional customs charges
You are responsible for all return shipping costs and any customs duties or taxes that may apply
We recommend using a courier service that provides tracking and insurance
5. Refunds
5.1 Inspection Process
When we receive your return, we will inspect the items to ensure they meet the eligibility conditions in Section 2. This inspection typically takes 3-5 business days from receipt.
5.2 Refund Amount
If your return is approved, we will process a refund for:
Full Refunds: The full purchase price of the returned item(s)
Original Shipping Costs: For EU customers exercising their right of withdrawal, standard shipping costs will be refunded. For other returns, original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
Return Shipping Costs: Return shipping costs are only refundable if the return is due to our error (wrong item, defective, damaged).
5.3 Partial Refunds
In some cases, we may issue only a partial refund (or deduct from the refund amount):
Items returned without original tags or packaging
Items showing obvious signs of wear, washing, or use
Items damaged due to customer handling or misuse
Items returned after the return period without prior authorization
5.4 Refund Processing Time
Once your refund is approved, we will process it to your original payment method:
Credit/Debit Cards and PayPal: Refunds typically appear within 5-10 business days, depending on your financial institution
Shopify Payments: Refunds typically process within 5-10 business days
Other Payment Methods: Processing times may vary
You will receive an email confirmation when your refund has been processed.
6. Exchanges
6.1 How Exchanges Work
If you would like to exchange an item for a different size, color, or style:
Follow the return process in Section 3 to return the original item
Place a new order for the desired item on our website
We will process a refund for the returned item once received and inspected
Note: We process returns and new orders separately to ensure accuracy and speed. This is typically faster than waiting for a direct exchange.
6.2 Exchange for Defective Items
If you received a defective item and would like the same item as a replacement:

We will provide a return shipping label (for customers in eligible locations)
Once we receive the defective item and confirm the defect, we will ship a replacement at no additional cost to you (subject to availability)
If the exact item is no longer available, we will offer a comparable substitute or a full refund.
7. Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Items
7.1 Reporting Issues
If you receive an item that is:
Damaged during transit
Defective (manufacturing flaw)
Not what you ordered (wrong size, color, or item)
Please contact us within 7 days of delivery at helpu@studiotee.store with:
Your order number
Photos clearly showing the issue (for damaged/defective items)
A brief description of the problem
7.2 Resolution Options
Depending on the situation and availability, we will offer one of the following:
Full refund including original and return shipping costs
Replacement item shipped at no additional cost
Partial refund if you wish to keep the item despite the issue
7.3 Timeframe for Reporting
Claims for damaged, defective, or incorrect items must be reported within 7 days of delivery. After this period, we may not be able to process your claim, and standard return conditions will apply.
8. Gift Returns
8.1 If You Received a Gift
If you received an item as a gift and wish to return it:
If the gift giver paid for the order: The refund will be issued to the original payment method of the gift giver
If you would like store credit instead: Please contact us with the order number (if available) and we may be able to issue store credit for the value of the item (excluding original shipping costs)
8.2 Gift with Purchase
If you received a free gift or promotional item with your purchase and return the qualifying item(s), the gift must also be returned. Failure to return the gift may result in a deduction from your refund equal to the value of the gift.
9. Non-Returnable and Final Sale Items
As noted in Section 2.2, certain items are non-returnable. These include:
Final Sale Items: These are clearly marked on the product page and cannot be returned for any reason unless defective
Intimate Apparel: For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns of lingerie, swimwear, or other intimate items unless they are defective
Custom Items: Items made to your specifications or personalized for you cannot be returned unless defective
10. Late or Missing Refunds
10.1 Check Your Payment Method
If you haven't received a refund within the expected timeframe:
Check your bank account or credit card statement again
Contact your credit card company or bank—it may take additional time before the refund is officially posted
Contact your payment provider (PayPal, etc.) as they may have their own processing times

11. Cancellations
11.1 Canceling Before Shipment
If you wish to cancel an order that has not yet been processed or shipped:

Include your order number and request cancellation
We will confirm once the cancellation is processed
If your order has not yet been processed for shipment, we will cancel it and issue a full refund to your original payment method.
11.2 Canceling After Shipment
Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be canceled. Please follow the return process in Section 3 after receiving your items.
